About Fairway Rewards

Fairway Rewards is a venture–funded startup now located in Sonora, California. For eight years, we’ve strived to provide innovative customer loyalty, incentive marketing, and media solutions for golf courses.

How We Got Started

Back in 2001, as the Co-Executive Director for the California Golf Course Owners Association, Loralei Abels specialized in promoting golf programs to increase profitability for golf courses. She worked with board members, course owners, and senior executives from renowned courses like Pebble Beach and Poppy Hills.

In 2002, with the help of several board members and golf industry professionals, Ms. Abels started Fairway Rewards to extend the benefits of her exciting promotional programs to clients nationwide. Program benefits included:

 Golf loyalty programs for member golf courses

 Incentive programs and gift cards for individual member courses

 Website utilization

 Course promotion with state departments of tourism

 Group discounts (for insurance and credit card processing)

During the next eight years, Ms. Abels focused her efforts on fine-tuning her marketing programs while expanding her network of member courses.

The cards, available in $25 increments up to $500, are redeemable at over Thousands of quality golf courses nationwide - and the list is growing fast.
